  • Thevenin Theorem :It states that in any Linear Active Bilateral active complicated network across its load terminals can be replaced by single voltage source and one series Impedance.


Procedure To solve Thevenin Theorem

        For Zth

  1. Firstly, Remove the load, ie, the Terminals across A and B should be remain open circuited.
  2. Now disconnect all sources. If voltage source then short circuit it and if current source then open circuit it.
  3. Now calculate equivalent Impedance across AB.

        For Vth

  1. Firstly, Remove the load, ie, the Terminals across A and B should be remain open circuited.
  2. Now calculate the open circuit voltage across AB.

      Then apply the formula below to calculate the current across the load :
